Biography

(b. 1859). An 'alim at Leonora, W.A., 1897; later at the Broken Hill mosque. Noted as 'priest' at Port Augusta in 1906, when he visited convicted murderer NATULLA ABDULLAH at Adelaide Gaol, with MULLAH ABDULLAH ('priest' at Broken Hill). (Advertiser 17 Nov. 1906, p.7). Returned home, 1909-1912 (Loois 1988; Stevens 1989, p. 184).
