Afghan. Cameleer in Broken Hill and Wilcannia, N.S.W. Carted wool to Adelaide, 1918. Carted general stores from Tarrawingee, N.S.W., to Bulloo Downs, Qld, 1928-1929. Also carted from Broken Hill, N.S.W., to Durham Downs and Narylco station in southern Qld. Set his camels free in south-western Qld, 1929 (Rajkowski 1987, pp. 120, 183; photo: Stevens 1989, p. 269).
