Biography

Afghan. Gave a speech at Coolgardie on behalf of FAIZ and TAJ MUHAMMAD, addressing the Governor on opening of the Kalgoorlie - Coolgardie railway line, 23 Mar. 1896 (Rajkowski 1987, pp. 92-93; Adelaide Observer, 11 Apr. 1896, p. 46, 'An Afghan address and gift'). Presented the Governor with a camel (West Australian 2 April 1896, p.5).
